SERIAL SOFTWARE WEDGE WINDOWS AUTO START SETUP INSTRUCTIONS |

Auto Start on Computer Restart : Choose Setups, Create Auto Start Batch File on Desktop. This function will place a file called "Wedge_Auto_Start.bat" on your desktop. TEST the batch file to make sure it is configured properly. The wedge program should run, pause 4 seconds then minimize to task bar. If this works close the wedge program so it is no longer running. Then: Choose Setups, Create Auto Start Batch File in Startup Folder. This function will place a file called "Wedge_Auto_Start.bat" in your ALL USERS Startup folder. Restart your computer and the wedge program should auto run after a new startup. |

The Wedge Software will not start automatically in Windows 7. Assuming you have followed all the steps above and the wedge program does not automatically run then type MSConfig from the Command Prompt under the Windows Control Panel and check to see if LOAD STARTUP ITEMS check box is enabled. Consult with a qualified Windows expert if necessary. Example :
